TESL Ottawa promotes the professional interests and development of teachers of ESL in the Ottawa area by organizing conferences and workshops and by publishing a newsletter three times a year. The organization provides a forum for ESL teachers to bring up issues and express concerns. TESL Ottawa members network with teachers from other areas by attending provincial and national conferences and by serving on committees and on provincial and national executives.
